Various readings from the Targum
The three editions are the following: Antwerp 1569, Bale 1619, and Vatican MS on vellum, dated 5055 (1295), by the convert Giulio Morosini, formerly Shmuel ben David Nahmias of Venice. Title page is in Hebrew (f. 2r) and Latin (f. 1v), giving the names of the pope and the librarian of the time. The work began by the converted Jew, Joan. Baptista Jona, formerly R. Juda of Sapheth (see Assemani, Codd. Urbino 58 and 59. The present MS is probably a copy of the Vatican MS). It was finished on 1 February 1677.
