parchment: hair side/flesh side hardly distinguishable, pricking is often visible in outer margins.

Ashkenazi semi-cursive script.

Decoration

Main text and glosses are interwoven in geometrical shapes (e.g. fols. 30v, 31r, 38v, 45v, 46r, 47r, 62r)

Binding

Brown leather binding, blind-tooled, with the gold-tooled coat of arms of Archbisop Laud in the middle; holes for straps; spine slightly damaged.

History

Origin: [Ashkenaz]; [late 14th century]
