Written by Yamin [=Benyamin] ben Mosheh, called Wolf Ḳarnakh on Friday, 5 Adar Sheni 223 [1463]. According to M. Beit-Arie, the scribe's name must have been Benyamin (Zeʾev).

Numerous marginal notes.

Colophon: "ה’ ואדר יום ו’ רכ"ג לפרט לאלף הששי ימין [=בנימין] בר’ משה המכונה וואלף קרנך" (fol. 175v).

Decoration

Decorated and inhabited initial-word panels, numerous marginal drawings mostly of animals, but also some human figures. At the end of the MS on fols. 175r and 175r, text in decorated medallions. Figures in some of the initial-word panels are defaced (e.g., fol. 2r, 79v).

Binding

Brown leather binding, blind-tooled, with the gold-tooled coat of arms of Archbisop Laud in the middle; holes for straps.
