According to colophon, it was written for Mosheh ben יסעדיה ha-Kohen.
Colophon: Colophon of the scribe Shlomoh ben Eliyah, dated 5 Elul [5]102 (=1342 CE): "חזק ונתחזק הסופר לא יזק לא היום ולא לעולם עד שיעלה חמר בסלם סיימתי זה הספר לר’ משה בר’ יסעדיה הכהן משנת מאה ושתים לפר’ ביום ה’ בירח אלול חמשה ימים ... אני הסופר שלמה בר’ אליה זצ"ל" (fol. 75v)
