Specimen for identification (fol. 47): וקד פסר בעץ̇ אלעלמא עפר יעקב גפר יעקב מתל או לעֹפֶר האיֶלים והו קול בעיד;
fol. 58b ואכתלף אלעלמא.
The author was a Karaite according to the following passage (xxviii. 26): וקו̇ בשבעתיכם יריד בה אן הדא אליום מורך בשבעה שבועות וליס הו מורך בכם יום מן שהד מת̇ל סאיר אלמועדים אלדי קאל פיהא באחד לחדש בעשור לחדש בארבעה עשר בחמשה עשר ואנמא הדא אליום הו בעקב שבעה שבועות ואול שבעה שבועות הו אול יום ממחרת שבת מן שבעת ימי מצה. וקאל מפסר אכר אנה אראד בה אן אלמנחה חדשה מגאב אלי אלכהן (?) מן אל יום אלגמעה פלדלך קאל בשבעתיכם. וקאל אכר (obliterated); ends with מוסף.
