concerning a certain Joseph אלרומי, who arrived at Damietta in a ship on a Friday evening, which was also the eve of the feast of Tabernacles, in the year 1469 Sel. = 1157 A.D., bearing a letter from the Nagid.

Mention is also made of a letter coming from אי כפתור at the mouth of the Nile, on the 20th of Tishri of the same year, by the authority of the Nagid Samuel. Signed by Japheth bar Samuel, Samuel hak-Kohen bar Mebhasser hak-Kohen.
