complete (margins cut), dated Thursday the 5th of Elul, 4750 A.M. = 990 A.D., at מדינת ברקה;

the parties are Aaron bar Jeshuah and חוסנה, daughter of Joseph אלצרפי, the dowry is expressed as follows: כסף זוזי מאתן ומאתן מנהג מדינת אטרבולוס, with some other presents;

signed by a great number of witnesses, the first of whom is Joseph bar Nissin השופט.

in which the property of Judah, which was in the hands of Netira son of Tobiah of Nisibis, was ordered by the זקנים to be restored to Judah’s sons, Sahl and Ḥosein.

The date is cut off, only Monday the 7th of Tishri can be read, and the place where the elders decided the matter is חנס מצרים.

b.

The date 4750 A.M. = 990 A.D. is, however, given in fragment b, where Netira has the title of כהן. The signatures of the elders are missing in both fragments.

c.

Aminah daughter of Moses with her husband and her two daughters סיידה and סותית renounces all right to the property in her possession; the document is much cut, the signatures are missing, and of the date and place only the following can be made out: 19th of Tebeth, 47.., .. שעל לשון ים מצרים.

Fragments of a liturgy for the טל

beg. as follows: הם אשר נתברכו בטל ילדות טל לאב המון ניתן בקץ רביבי טל; the months and the planets are mentioned in the last strophe.

from Judah Sofer bar Ali to Meborakh bar David hab-Babli (on the verso),

ending with ותן שלום לאדוני מרי ורבנא אברהם הרופא זקננו וחשובנו בן כבוד גדולת קדושת מרנא ורבנא עלי נ̇נ̇ ותקבלו שלום רב מחמודי עלי.

This is followed by a postscript, beg. וקד געלת רקעה דרג כתאבך מתפצ̇ל תרפעהא לסידי אבי עמרן בן יחיי אלרקי ..., and mentioning ולדי אבו אלחסן.

On the verso are some entries by a later hand, beg. אשתרית מן אבו אלעלא רטלין ....
