The first full section begins as follows: אעלמו אן קו̇ אלעלאמאת אלמכתובה מוגודה פי אלחיואן אלתי נסבת אליה פי צגרה וכברה ליס הו כ̇ק̇ לאן אלאגתראר אלמדכור פי אלכתאב לא יכון מן צגיר אלבהאים מנד ולאדתה.
Other opinions are reported anonymously, introduced by expressions such as וקאל בעץ̇ אלקאילין, וקד אכתלף הולא פקאל, וקאל בעצ̇הם, וקאל אכרון, וקד קאל דלך אלרגל.
On fol. 31b the polemic is perhaps against Seadiah Gaon.
